My Sister’s Place Fax: 01642 224812 I commenced as Forum Co-ordinator at the end of November 2006. I am enjoying the challenge of this new role and I been encouraged by both the commitment and enthusiasm from the Forum Members, staff and volunteers from My Sister's Place, Middlesbrough Council and the Safer Middlesbrough Partnership. My role is joint funded through The Northern Rock Foundation and Middlesbrough Council. I have undertaken work to deliver some of the Local Authorities Best Value Performance Indicators (BVPI 225). One of the indicators related to producing a directory of local services that could help victims of domestic violence. This was seen as a priority for both Middlesbrough Council and the Forum. The directory was launched on the 30th April. I feel it demonstrates a good example of partnership working. We have already received positive feedback from both agencies and service users.An electronic copy of the directory can be found in the downloads section. I am offering support to some of the Forums projects and I loo forward to continuing this support and to both strenghthening and developing partnership relationships in the future.
